Hub/Art Exhibition, in collaboration with ARS ART SPACE, is pleased to announce the open call for participation in the exhibition “Freedom & Beauty: the language of art”, an international exhibition of painting, photography, video art, installation/sculpture, and performance art. The exhibition will take place in Barcelona at the Hub/Art space from June 21 to July 2, 2025.

Hub/Art and Ars Art Space offer artists a unique opportunity to showcase their works to an international audience of art lovers and professionals, supporting the best talents in contemporary art on their journey of growth and recognition.

TOPIC

The idea behind Freedom & Beauty stems from the desire to offer artists a free stage, inviting them to explore the infinite spectrum of creativity, all united by the common thread of expressive freedom.

Writer Susan Sontag, in her essay Against Interpretation (1966), criticizes the notion that art must be interpreted and analyzed rationally. For Sontag, art is a sensory and emotional experience that should be fully lived, without limits or barriers.

In this sense, beauty itself becomes a form of expression, conveying emotions and ideas in a direct and authentic way.

By granting complete creative freedom, the Organization opens the doors to a kaleidoscope of artistic interpretations, each a unique fragment of the broader mosaic of artistic expression. The goal is to create an explosion of colors and emotions—an ode to diversity and uniqueness, a tribute to the freedom that only art can provide, bringing together a wide audience of art lovers and collectors.

Eligibility
The open call is open to all artists, regardless of age.

By downloading the application form, you will be able to view the participation fee, which varies depending on the services you choose to activate.

Participation in the exhibition becomes binding only after signing the collaboration agreement.

The participation fee includes the following services

  • Curatorial project
  • Artwork exhibition: 1 piece if measuring 80×80 cm or larger, or multiple smaller works (under 80×80 cm)
  • Event setup and dismantling
  • Photography service
  • Printed and digital promotional materials
  • Marketing activities through social media channels and art magazines
  • Opening reception evening
  • Reception service from Monday to Saturday during the exhibition period

HUB/ART EXHIBITION LTD

Founded in 2017, Hub/Art Exhibition is led by Greta Zuccali.

A consultancy firm specializing in curating and promoting contemporary art, it collaborates with artists, galleries, fairs, and companies to design exhibitions and develop innovative strategies for artistic promotion.

Among its most notable projects is L’infinito volgere del tempo, an exhibition hosted at Palazzo Guadagni Strozzi Sacrati in Florence, the headquarters of the Tuscany Region.

Hub/Art Exhibition maintains ongoing collaborations with artists and institutions in Italy, Spain, France, and the United Kingdom.

ARS ART SPACE

Ars Art Space is a cultural organization based in Milan, founded by curator Eva Amos.

Ars Art Space provides services for organizing cultural events such as vernissages, performances, artist and curator talks, workshops, and conferences, aiming to create a meeting point and exchange hub for art enthusiasts.
