Matteo Galvano’s work, characterised by sharpness and visual clarity, focuses on the study of architectural elements encountered during his travels. This study led in 2014 to the “architAMORfosi” series (officially presented at the Italian Pavilion during EXPO 2015) in which, through black and white drawings, Galvano rewrites his personal vision of urban architecture with a biro, suggesting new space-time coordinates.

Matteo Galvano is an artist from Como, icastical and rational, known for his painting technique with the biros, which has enabled him to develop the ability to modulate the infinite range of greys down to the most velvety black. He graduated from the Art Institute in Cantù, where he dedicated his studies to various artistic techniques.
